Frequently asked
questions

Straight answers to the questions we hear most from clients in the Middle East, North Africa, Russia, and Central Asia.

What does Yamfaza do?

Yamfaza is a China sourcing agent and business representation company based in China, with offices in Shanghai and Yiwu. We help international companies find and verify suppliers, inspect products, coordinate shipping, and represent their interests in meetings and negotiations in China. Our team works in Arabic, Russian, English, and Mandarin.

How do I find a reliable sourcing agent in China?

Look for an agent with a physical presence in China, verifiable staff, direct reporting (photos, video, written reports from the ground), and clear written scope before work begins. Be cautious of agents who only communicate through a single WhatsApp number, refuse to share supplier details, or can't show you evidence from factory visits. Yamfaza operates from offices in China with a named team you can meet.

How can I verify that a Chinese factory is legitimate?

A legitimate factory can show a valid business license, production facilities you can visit, and a consistent track record. Our Factory Validation Service checks licenses, visits the site, confirms real production capacity, and identifies undisclosed subcontracting — before you commit any money.

What is the difference between a sourcing agent and a trading company?

A trading company buys from factories and resells to you, so you rarely know the real supplier or the real price. A sourcing agent works on your behalf: you know the factory, you own the relationship, and the agent's fee is for the service they provide. Yamfaza works as your agent and representative — your interests are the only ones we represent.

How much does a sourcing agent in China cost?

It depends on the scope: order volume, product complexity, number of suppliers, and destination. Some engagements are priced per service (an inspection, a factory audit), others as a project or retainer. We agree the scope and fee in writing before work begins. Do you work with clients in Libya and the Arab world?

Yes. A large share of our clients are in Libya, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, and Oman, as well as Egypt, Tunisia, Iraq, and Syria. Our team includes native Arabic speakers, so you communicate with us directly in Arabic.

Do you work with clients in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan?

Yes. Our co-founder Shirvan Aslanly leads our work across Russia and the CIS, with a particular focus on Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Russian-speaking clients work with our team directly in Russian.

Can you arrange and ship full containers?

Yes. We arrange full-container (FCL) shipments from China: consolidating goods from one or several suppliers, supervising loading at the factory or warehouse, handling export documentation and customs, and shipping the sealed container to your destination port. For smaller volumes, we consolidate LCL and mixed-container shipments.

What is Yiwu, and why do you have an office there?

Yiwu, in Zhejiang province, is home to the world's largest wholesale market for small commodities — household goods, accessories, textiles, toys, hardware, and thousands of other categories. It is a primary sourcing destination for buyers from the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia. Our Yiwu office supports market visits, supplier selection, order consolidation, and mixed-container shipments.

Can you help me visit China and meet suppliers myself?

Yes. Our Business Delegation & Visit Support service handles scheduling, professional interpretation (Arabic, Russian, English, Mandarin), transport, and pre-meeting briefings, so your trip is productive from the first meeting.

How do you keep me informed about what's happening on the ground?

Every factory visit, inspection, and meeting is reported directly to you with photos, video, and our honest assessment. You have direct access to the person handling your project — no intermediaries.

Can you represent my company in China on an ongoing basis?

Yes. Through our Strategic Representation track, we act as your presence in China — attending meetings, negotiating on your behalf, managing supplier relationships, and executing on the ground, on a retainer or per-engagement basis.
